We spent 3 hrs last night in Temple Street Children's hospital with Andrey. He ran into a radiator at the church and cut his head. There was loads of blood. He was very brave though. the kids has a high pain tolerance. He cried initially but then was fine.
He thought the hospital was a great adventure. I hope we don't have to ever bring him back there though. He ended up having the wound glued and I kept him home from school today to keep an eye on him but he's fine.

I've had a busy week, Shopping, cleaning, ironing etc but I got all the work done so today we put up the Christmas decorations. We have a new tree, (bought last January in the sales) but mostly all our old, familiar decorations. I'm watching a lovely program with different chiors singing Christmas carols. The house is very cosy and Christmassy now.

We're just back from Enniscorthy. We went to a Murder Mystery night. We were in a group of about 20 people, mostly family, Ian's mother, sister and her husband, aunts and uncles and cousins. The premise was that a Mafia Don had recently died and we were all at the reading of the will. The cast included the grieving widow, his daughter and her husband, his best friend and the lawyer. They wandered about chatting to the guests with fake Chicago accents giving out clues and generally being annoying. We had a very unpleasant experience with one of the characters which lead to us complaining to the manager but anyway. Eventually there was a murder, Actually the obnoxious guy was shot, Good enough for him, and we had to guess whodunnit. It was a bit silly really but we had a nice dinner and then a relaxing chat in the lounge afterwards.
We went off to bed about about midnight but all the wrinklies stayed up till 4am. They had the added help of alcohol though. We had a wander around the town this morning and did some shopping. Enniscorthy is a lovely town and was very quiet, considering it's a Saturday in December. Everyone must be in Newry
